Sunset is a pedal that recreates multiple classic overdrive circuit topologies. Six drive circuits are split across two channels, A and B, calling up a wide range of long-loved overdrive tones.

A pedal recreating six classic overdrive circuit topologies, split across channels A and B. Hybrid processing pairing a Class A JFET analog input stage with a SHARC DSP delivers tones that hold together at any gain setting.
Three circuits on Channel A
Ge uses the soft clipping of germanium diodes, thickening single-coils and giving humbuckers a strong forward push. texas is a single soft clipper with smooth, blues-friendly drive. treble works as a treble booster with the lows removed.
Three circuits on Channel B
2 stage layers hard clipping after soft clipping, covering light grit to robust saturation. hard is a high-gain single hard clipper approaching fuzz territory. JFET serves as a clean boost that preserves dynamics.
Flexible stacking
The two channels can be connected in series, reverse series, or parallel. Drive and Tone on each channel are custom-tuned per circuit type, and combinations when stacked are optimized as well.
Practical support features
A bright switch matches the pedal to your amp's treble response, and threshold-equipped noise reduction tames hum and buzz. It supports expression-pedal morphing and a volume mode, plus MIDI control and 300 presets on firmware 1.2 and later.
