One Control
TORNADO Fx TORNADO Drive Aluminium
$429.99Reference price
An overdrive from TORNADO Fx, the brand line fully supervised by TK. BJF handled the sound design and One Control the production. Prototypes were used at TK's live shows over several years, and this Aluminium tunes the resulting TORNADO Drive Brass for a wider range of guitarists. It is refined to combine a thick, dense, three-dimensional tone with delicate expressiveness.
An overdrive that opens the TORNADO Drive to more guitarists
A model born during the development of the TORNADO Drive Brass, from the proposal to tune its sound for many guitarists rather than keeping it exclusive to TK. It meets the standard TK demands while being adjusted to work with a wide range of gear.
Differences from the Brass
The enclosure is still machined but switches to aluminum, and the trim pots are omitted for a simple three-knob layout of Level, Drive, and Tone. Some component values in the circuit differ as well. TK himself sometimes uses this Aluminium for line recording.
Inherited drive character
It inherits from the Brass the balance of a thick, dense, three-dimensional tone and delicate expressiveness, articulating complex chords clearly at high gain and holding long sustain.
