STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE 4K
$154.99Reference price
An overdrive BJF designed not to simulate existing gear but to embody the tonal character shared by high-quality guitar amps. It covers everything from completely clean to strong drive, with picking up the player's touch on any guitar and amp set as a condition of development. It is positioned as a fundamental pedal for guitarists of any genre.
A fundamental overdrive aiming for the character shared by high-quality guitar amps
Rather than imitating the sound of existing gear, BJF designed it to embody the tonal character common to good guitar amps. Capturing every nuance of the player's hands with any guitar and amp combination was set as an absolute condition of development.
The full range of drive on a single DRIVE knob
From completely clean boost through bluesy low gain and hard overdrive into distortion territory, everything is controlled with the DRIVE knob alone. At minimum it becomes a clean booster, with up to +6dB of boost available from VOLUME. With DRIVE up, rolling back the guitar's volume yields a thick, harmonically rich clean tone, behaving like a one-volume tube amp.
Response without losing playability
Highly responsive drives with a wide dynamic range tend to become hard to handle, but this pedal keeps the core of the guitar sound, holding a dense, centered tone that never loses focus. Changes in expression from pickup switching also come through.
Active TREBLE and LOW
TREBLE is an active tone control adjusting mids through treble from -3dB to +6dB, working across 70Hz to 7kHz when cut and 700Hz to 7kHz when boosted. No position sounds extreme, so the entire sweep is usable for shaping. LOW handles low-end cut and boost, balancing the pedal against the rest of your gear.
- DRIVE sweeps continuously from clean boost to distortion territory
- High responsiveness that follows the guitar's volume
- Active TREBLE control from -3 to +6dB
- LOW knob for adjusting the low end
- Versatile design that suits any gear
