PERSIAN GREEN SCREAMER
$144.99Reference price
An overdrive designed by BJF on the foundation of a "TS" circuit built around dual op amps and symmetrical diode clipping. Its original circuit aims to combine a faithful vintage TS sound with practicality as a modern overdrive. A machined-aluminum mini enclosure was chosen for low noise, and the design avoids relying on expensive, hard-to-find parts.
An overdrive that moves between vintage TS and modern drive with one switch
Creating the sound of a vintage original TS while also being a serious modern overdrive: BJF designed an original circuit around these two requirements. A machined-aluminum mini enclosure keeps noise extremely low, and the design does not rely on expensive, hard-to-find parts.
VINTAGE mode
Produces the creamy, warm, three-dimensional drive of the large-case units marked TS-808. The midrange is strongly pushed yet well balanced, never oppressive. It also covers the boost setting of minimum overdrive and maximum level, with a control range wider than before. TONE is voiced for fine adjustment, focused on the range guitarists actually use.
MODERN mode
Switches to a transparent overdrive capable of completely clean boost. It leaves the sound of your guitar and amp largely intact, with gain controlled from the guitar's volume knob and picking dynamics. Wide-ranging and highly responsive, it also works as an always-on drive, and in this mode the TONE control allows more aggressive variation.
High-voltage operation up to 18V
It accepts adapters up to 18V. Raising the supply voltage widens headroom and increases expressiveness while slightly lowering the gain, usable as a tonal variation.
