Silver Bee OD 4K Mini
$249.99Reference price
A mini-sized version of the Silver Bee OD, BJF's own customized take on the Honey Bee OD. The design accounts even for the effects of "ghost components" — influences that never appear on a schematic — introduced by the move to SMD parts, recreating the original tone. It has an American-combo-amp voice with a flat low end and a taut top end, plus a two-band equalizer with a T knob for highs and harmonics and a B knob for the low mids.
The Silver Bee OD recreated as a mini-sized overdrive
A mini-sized version of the Silver Bee OD, BJF's own customized take on the Honey Bee OD. It was designed with attention even to the ghost components that arise from SMD parts — influences that never appear on a schematic — and reached production once BJF himself was satisfied with the recreation.
An American combo amp voice
A flat low end and a taut top end create a tone reminiscent of American combo amps. The gain range matches the Honey Bee OD but leans brighter, and with gain kept low it has the flexibility to work always on with single-coils or humbuckers alike.
Two-band EQ and VINTAGE/MODERN switch
The T knob shapes the highs and harmonic content, while the B knob centers on the low mids, matching the pedal to the connected amp and guitar. The headroom-switching VINTAGE/MODERN toggle is an intuitive fine adjustment — adding a little thickness or tidying things up — and with some gear combinations the difference may be barely noticeable.
