BJFE in your hand series Shades Of Green O.D. Deluxe
$289.99Reference price
A pedal from the BJF-approved BJFE in your hand Series, in which original BJFE models are rebuilt and hand-wired in Japan. Born from the idea of building a Tube Screamer with six knobs, its extensive controls cover everything from boost through overdrive into distortion territory. The tone can be tailored to a wide range of amps and guitars, enabling sound design beyond the bounds of a conventional overdrive.
An overdrive born from the idea of a 6-knob Tube Screamer
A BJF-designed model that began with the idea of building a Tube Screamer with six knobs, rebuilt in the BJF-approved BJFE in your hand Series and hand-wired in Japan. It covers boost, light overdrive, and medium distortion, and was designed to drive an amp with humbuckers and single-coils alike.
A distortion engine that manages transients
The circuit dynamically processes the transients of different pickups, built around a design in which transients exceeding the distortion level do not affect the sound. As a result it works with any guitar, shaping everything from edgy distortion-leaning tones to boosts that push the amp.
Three treble controls to match the amp
The 2K, 4K, and Treble controls all sit after the distortion section and handle adjustments matched to guitar amps that emphasize treble. They act on the 2kHz region, the 4kHz region, and the overall highs independently, letting you dial in the top end precisely for each amp.
Lows working before the distortion
The Lows control sits before the distortion section and is set at 70Hz, just below the fundamental of the low E string in standard tuning. It covers everything from adding depth and sparkle to a clean tone to shaping the foundation of the drive.
