MOSFET clipping close to tube characteristics
Clipping is handled by MOSFETs, said to behave much like vacuum tubes. The pedal covers a wide gain range, from clean boost to overdrive reminiscent of a vintage amp, and works as a clean booster with GAIN rolled down and OUTPUT raised.
Mid settings via the BOOST/CUT switch
In addition to the OUTPUT, TONE, and GAIN knobs, it carries a BOOST/CUT switch. BOOST emphasizes the midrange while lifting the overall level, raising volume for leads without losing dimension. CUT switches to a mid-scooped sound.
