Tone controls split before and after the gain stage
In an unusual arrangement, BASS cuts lows before the gain stage while TREBLE cuts highs after it. Clearing out the low end before distortion keeps the sound from getting muddy even at high gain, producing drive that preserves the outline of the original tone.
Three clipping options
The CLIP switch selects between three types of clipping diodes, letting you match the texture of the distortion to your playing style. With GAIN turned down and VOLUME up, it also works as a clean booster.
