A model that rebuilds the ST9, still discussed as a vintage classic, with new circuitry as the SUPER TUBE. Built around midrange push, it offers wide control over both the character and amount of drive.
Midrange boost and drive range
The midrange boost control recreates the powerful, massive sound of stacked amps. Combined with the drive control, settings range from booster duty to blues and hard rock tones.
Selectable clipping and low boost
Two pairs of clipping diodes and a low-boost circuit are newly added, letting you select stronger distortion and enhanced low-end presence.
9V/18V internal operation
Internal operating voltage is selectable between 9V and regulated 18V. At 18V a DC/DC converter secures ample dynamic headroom; at 9V the converter stays off, extending battery life.
