It features three-band tone control and noise reduction with a variable threshold, stepping the 9V from the AC adapter up to a regulated 12.6V internally.
A dual-triode overdrive that does not rely on diode clipping
The overdrive of the Real Tube series. Its core idea is generating drive with a tube and amp circuit rather than clipping diodes.
Tube-generated drive
A dual-triode vacuum tube is used with no clipping diodes. The tube and high-gain amp produce singing sustain and tight, powerful picking response, shaped by a three-band tone control.
Variable noise reduction
High-quality VCA-based noise reduction cuts unwanted noise. The threshold level is variable and the circuit can be switched off; a reduction LED lights as noise decreases, so operation is visible while playing.
Step-up power and tube protection
The 9V from the AC adapter is stepped up and regulated to 12.6V by an internal DC-DC converter before feeding each circuit. A heater inrush current control circuit extends tube life at power-on.
