Two drive circuits
With separate overdrive and distortion circuits, a switch selects between traditional overdrive and metallic distortion, all with tube sound. A three-band tone control shapes the result.
Variable boost
The boost circuit ships at about 5dB and is variable from 3dB to 9dB. A boost footswitch toggles instantly between rhythm and solo levels, with an LED indicating boost.
Noise reduction and power
The VCA-based noise reduction has a variable threshold and can be switched off. The adapter's 9V is stepped up and regulated to 12.6V internally, and heater inrush current control extends tube life.
