Serotonin Origin S.T. "ADD CBF"
An ADD CBF version of Serotonin Origin S.T., adding a Clean Blend and a Clean LPF. The base is Serotonin Origin S.T., developed jointly with Susumu Tamura, who designed the Tube Screamer. A clean booster is blended into the effect path to restore the dry signal an effect stage attenuates. The LPF on the clean side blends in only the low content, so the low range carrying the body of the note stays clean while the mids and highs come from the effect. Blend, Clean-LPF and Clean-Vol sit on the side of the enclosure.
Serotonin Origin S.T. with dry-signal blending and a low-pass filter in ADD CBF form
A special modification of Clean Blend and Clean LPF, previously built to order, offered as a production model. The base is Serotonin Origin S.T..
Serotonin Origin S.T. as the base
A joint development with Susumu Tamura, the former Maxon engineer who designed the Tube Screamer. The circuit was drawn from scratch after studying multiple units of each generation of Tube Screamer.
The ADD CBF module
A clean booster is blended into the effect path, restoring the dry signal that an effect stage naturally attenuates. The LPF on the clean side passes lows and cuts highs, so only the low content of the dry signal is blended in. That lets the low range carrying pitch and body stay clean while the mids and highs are shaped by the effect, without the two masking each other. Blend, Clean-LPF and Clean-Vol are laid out on the side of the enclosure.
- Built on the Tamura collaboration model
- Clean Blend and Clean LPF built in as ADD CBF
- Clean-side LPF blends in only the low content of the dry signal
- Blend, Clean-LPF and Clean-Vol on the side panel
