Nitroglycerin M6
KarDiaN's sixth-anniversary model. Built on Nitroglycerin, which referenced a Fender Champ, it reinterprets a 1964 Fender Super Reverb from the Pre-CBS era owned by Kitada. Its range runs from the dimensional clean tone of a vintage Super Reverb to the concentrated drive that comes from the original four-speaker cabinet. It uses SoZo NexGen Blue Molded capacitors, a faithful recreation of the Ajax Blue Molded parts fitted to the amp, and an Analog Devices OP275. Limited to 300 units worldwide.
A sixth-anniversary model interpreting a legendary Pre-CBS Super Reverb setting
Named after Magic 6, Fender's legendary amp setting, and built to mark KarDiaN's sixth anniversary. It takes Nitroglycerin, which referenced a Fender Champ, and redesigns it around a different amp.
Interpreting a 1964 Super Reverb
The reference was a 1964 Fender Super Reverb from the Pre-CBS era owned by Kitada. The pedal is designed to cover both the dimensional clean tone of a vintage Super Reverb and the concentrated drive produced by its original four-speaker cabinet.
Capacitors and op-amp from the amp
Securing 300 units of SoZo NexGen Blue Molded, a faithful recreation of the Ajax Blue Molded capacitors fitted to the amp, was the starting point for the build. An Analog Devices OP275 serves as the op-amp, its JFET-based topology contributing a texture close to a tube circuit.
A city-night finish
Three-colour splash paintwork reproduces a neon palette, with gold used as an accent. Each unit carries a serial number.
