OD-1X
An overdrive pedal built on MDP digital signal processing technology. It achieves a clear, wide-range sound while retaining thickness, producing a natural drive tone that brings out the guitar's inherent character. Operation comes down to a simple knob layout that supports a broad range of tone shaping.
An MDP-designed overdrive that distorts without altering the fundamental
By processing the effect without changing the fundamental, which defines a note's thickness and core, it achieves a clear, wide-range drive sound that stays full. It inherits the "1" designation, reserved for models that take on new challenges, from the original OD-1.
MDP processing that preserves the fundamental
It instantly analyzes the input's frequency response, harmonic structure, dynamics, and playing technique, adapting its processing in real time as the signal changes. Even at high-gain settings, noise stays low and chords keep their separation.
Designed around the guitar's character
It was designed for a natural drive sound that never buries the instrument's individuality, including body and neck resonance, pickup characteristics, pick material, and string gauge. One pedal covers flat tones, focused crunch, mid boost, and singing leads.
Simple control over linked parameters
Turning a knob is all it takes, while many parameters move in concert internally. DRIVE spans clean boost to deep distortion, and TONE achieves a wide range by moving multiple parameters at once rather than fixing on a single band.
- MDP processing that leaves the fundamental untouched
- Low-noise design that keeps separation at high gain
- DRIVE spanning clean boost to deep distortion
- Wide-ranging TONE driven by multiple linked parameters
- A "1"-numbered model in the lineage of the original OD-1
