B6
A touchscreen bass multi-effects processor with DI modeling and dual inputs. It recreates four professional-standard direct boxes down to the transformer-dependent harmonics and compression feel. On board are 11 bass amp models, 11 preamps, 12 cabinet models, and 119 bass effects. A processor running at 88.2kHz - double the usual rate - and a newly designed analog input stage deliver both rich lows and clear highs.
A flagship bass multi uniting DI modeling and dual inputs
A bass-dedicated processor that goes beyond effects to integrate direct-box tone modeling and switching between two basses in one unit. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen brings smartphone-style operation.
DI modeling and XLR output
Four professional-standard direct boxes are modeled - two tube and two solid-state - reproducing the transformer-dependent harmonics and compression that shift with the input signal. A balanced XLR output sends the finished bass sound straight to the PA console.
Dual bass inputs
Two basses, such as an electric and an upright, connect at once and switch instantly by footswitch. Both inputs offer 1M-ohm and 10M-ohm impedance settings, keeping piezo-equipped uprights clear.
Amp modeling and IR loader
Eleven classic bass amp models join 11 preamp models including three ZOOM originals. Twelve cabinets come with 36 IRs captured at three mic positions, expandable to 120 including third-party files. The 119 effects include newly developed octaver and bass synth algorithms, with up to six blocks - amp model included - running at once.
Looper and connectivity
The 45-second stereo looper extends to two hours with an SD card and syncs with 68 rhythm patterns. Send/return jacks, a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, and an AUX input are on board, and the optional Bluetooth adapter enables remote control from an iPhone/iPad app.
