PCH X1
$199Reference price
An active mono single-channel DI and line isolator designed for the working stage. Powered by 48V phantom power, it converts mono sources such as instruments, pedalboards, modelers, and keyboards into a low-noise balanced output through custom transformer isolation. The 3mm-thick extruded aluminum enclosure is compact enough for a gig bag yet rugged enough for the stage. The stereo PCH X2 shares the same lineage.
A transformer-isolated mono DI built for the field
A single-channel model that packs excellent sound quality plus direct-interface and line-isolator features that prove useful in real-world settings into a small enclosure. It delivers balanced sound on a loud stage or in a quiet high-end recording studio alike.
Galvanic isolation through a custom transformer
Audio passes through a custom transformer, providing true galvanic isolation that eliminates most ground loops. A ground-lift switch for hum and a 3-position high-pass filter selectable between 80Hz and 240Hz handle on-stage noise and low-end cleanup.
Unbuffered THRU output
In addition to the balanced XLR output, an unbuffered THRU output sends the input signal on a separate path to an on-stage monitor or instrument amp. It allows flexible routing live or in the studio.
A rugged, compact enclosure
The 3mm-thick extruded aluminum enclosure has been called bulletproof. At just 93mm deep, it fits almost anywhere.
