BOSS
ME-90B
$399.99Reference price
A bass multi-effects unit that inherits the ME series' traditionally intuitive operation. Tones can be shaped with knobs alone, much like compact pedals, and the footswitch-based sound-switching method can be changed to suit your preference. It carries effects tuned specifically for bass and 10 preamps built on BOSS's proprietary AIRD technology. A generous set of output jacks covers everything from the stage to practice and recording at home.
A multi-effects unit that puts bass-tuned effects under intuitive control
A multi-effects unit that extends the ME series' operability to bass. Built on 48kHz, 32-bit floating-point processing, it packs effects tuned specifically for bass and 10 preamps based on BOSS's proprietary AIRD technology into a single unit.
Dedicated knobs and two operation modes
Independent knobs on each effect block allow instant tone adjustments, and created sounds can be saved to 36 user memories. The footswitches offer a choice of MEMORY and MANUAL modes, with color-coded LEDs indicating each effect's status.
Effects built for bass
Multiple compressor and filter types can be used at the same time, covering added voices one or two octaves down and even bass-synth leads. Mixing in the direct sound with the BLEND knob keeps a solid core while effects are applied. The SEND/RETURN jacks also allow external pedals to be integrated.
10 AIRD preamps
The lineup spans familiar classic types to loud, cutting modern ones. The 10 choices include original types such as NATURAL, which conveys fingertip nuance, and DRIVE BASS, which delivers well-separated distortion.
From the stage to recording
In addition to stereo-capable 1/4-inch outputs, it provides an XLR output with a GND/LIFT switch, and the AMP/LINE switch optimizes the signal for the destination. The USB Type-C port allows direct recording into a DAW.
