AIRD amp processing for any destination
Floor units struggle to keep their ideal sound depending on whether they feed an amp or a PA. The GT-1000's AIRD is designed to account for the interactions that occur in every section of an entire amplifier, and by setting the destination with AIRD OUTPUT SELECT, it maintains the intended sound and response even when the output environment changes.
AIRD amps and MDP effects
Every amp type on board was developed with AIRD, spanning BOSS originals, vintage combos, and celebrated modern stacks. Up to two amps can run at once, enabling configurations that are difficult with real hardware, such as mixing or stereo operation. The MDP-based effects, which analyze and process the input signal, aim for dynamics and separation that are hard to achieve with analog designs.
Features that support stage use
Up to 250 tones can be stored, and ultra-fast switching combined with delay carryover makes changes seamless. It provides a STOMPBOX function for sharing frequently used pedal settings across memories, two effects loops, and XLR stereo outputs, and supports control via MIDI, USB, and Bluetooth as well as wireless editing from the dedicated app. Bass amps and effects are also included.
