Orbit
Orbit Flanger is a flanger built on the same dBucket technology as the BRIGADIER delay. It reproduces two vintage styles of flanging, MXR and A/DA, and its unique "+/-" feedback delivers three-dimensional modulation in which positive and negative phases intermingle. The LFO switches between three patterns: log, lin, and thru 0, where signal cancellation occurs.
A dBucket flanger tracing nine orbits
Using dBucket technology, which recreates BBD circuits at the transistor level, it draws out the vintage MXR and A/DA flanging that shaped rock history. Three feedback phases combined with three LFOs produce nine flavors of flanging.
Three feedback phases
pos is in phase and suits jet sounds at high REGEN settings, while neg produces a hollow, wet character. The unique +/- combines positive and negative phase, creating a three-dimensional modulated space where both phases intermingle.
Three LFO patterns
Switch between lin, which sweeps at a uniform rate; log, which accelerates toward higher frequencies; and the dramatic thru 0, where signal cancellation occurs.
Designed for ease of use
A MIX control, absent on many flangers, adjusts only the balance with the dry signal without changing the character. The input signal is mixed in the analog domain with no AD conversion, and one setting can be saved to the FAVORITE footswitch.
