Ola
Ola Chorus is a modulation pedal offering chorus and vibrato. Like the BRIGADIER, it is built on the dBucket algorithm, which theoretically recreates analog BBD circuitry in DSP, devoting the processing power of a SHARC DSP to tone generation. It preserves BBD-derived character while generating chorus and vibrato with performance beyond analog units.
A chorus and vibrato specialist refined with dBucket
A modulation pedal built on the dBucket algorithm, which restores an idealized analog BBD circuit in DSP, dedicating the processing power of a SHARC DSP solely to chorus and vibrato. It reproduces even the tonal changes unique to BBDs while targeting performance beyond analog units.
Three chorus types
chorus is a traditional single-delay-line chorus whose log-shaped LFO covers everything from deep warble to pulsing effects. multi is a studio-style three-layer delay-line chorus that avoids excessive wobble even at deep settings. vibrato restores a vintage vibrato circuit in the digital domain.
Analog dry mix
The input signal is never AD converted; it is mixed with the effect entirely in the analog domain. A mixer circuit running on an internally boosted analog-only power rail avoids degrading the dry tone.
Envelope control over the modulation
A MODE switch selects between norm, env, and ramp. In env, effect depth follows picking dynamics; in ramp, the effect engages only while the switch is held down.
- Three types: chorus, multi, and vibrato
- Analog mix circuit with no AD conversion
- ENV mode that responds to picking
- FAVORITE footswitch for saving a setting
- Stereo I/O and +4dB line input
- 24-bit 96kHz AD/DA converters
