OB.1
OB.1 is an all-analog compressor that packs a photocell-based optical compressor into pedal size. Using the approach long found in vintage studio gear, it is designed for natural level control and low-noise operation, and also includes a booster.
An all-analog studio-grade optical compressor
An all-analog compressor that fits the photocell optical compression familiar from vintage studio gear into a pedal. It delivers studio-quality compression that controls signal levels naturally, along with ultra-low-noise performance.
Selectable boost
A boost function offers three types: clean, treble, and mid. The frequencies raised by treble and mid can be fine-tuned with internal DIP switches. Pair deep compression with a treble boost to emphasize attack, or light compression with a flat boost to drive an amp — the range of uses is wide.
Compressor and boost in one compact unit
A single unit covers both compression and boost, with true bypass. It accepts +4dB line-level input and can be placed in a mixer insert. Runs on either a 9V battery or a DC adapter.
