An amp simulator pedal that recreates a tube amp, speaker cabinet, and room ambience in one unit. It carries three amp models, each with three impulse-response cabinet datasets. The design aims to deliver a playing feel close to the real thing without using an amp.
A direct solution carrying amp, cabinet, and room
An amp simulator uniting tube amp modeling, high-resolution 24-bit 96kHz, 500ms IR cabinets, and room ambience in one unit. It runs straight from your pedalboard into a recording interface or PA, and also supports monitoring on headphones or in-ears.
Three amps via Matrix Modeling
Round is based on the Fender Deluxe Reverb, Chime on the Vox AC30's Brilliant channel, and Punch on the Marshall Plexi. Circuit behavior is analyzed mathematically, reproducing tone circuit interactions and even the time variation of voltage drops. Chime and Punch also handle hot-rodded, higher gain ranges.
Nine high-resolution IR cabinets
Three cabinets per amp, nine stereo IRs in total, are built in. The full 24-bit 96kHz resolution and 500ms length rival studio convolution software, with IRs curated from Cabir.eu, Celestion, OwnHammer, and Valhallir.at. Strymon Impulse Manager also lets you swap IRs.
Room ambience
A 256ms IR capturing a room's early reflections is layered with reverb tails from Strymon's reverb algorithms. The combination of amp, cabinet, and room reproduces even the sense of a speaker moving air.
Flexible connectivity
Cab bypass sends just the amp section to a power amp, while Amp bypass makes it a landing spot for preamp pedals. The JFET analog input stage offers up to 22dB of gain, and a headphone amp is built in.
