LEMON YELLOW COMPRESSOR 4K
$164.99Reference price
A natural-voiced compressor designed by BJF. It pairs the clear tone and dimensionality of studio gear with the simple operation of a compact pedal. Sounds are shaped mainly with Gain and Ratio, while BLEND balances the dry signal and VOLUME provides up to +18dB of output. It serves the wide-ranging styles of guitarists and bassists, from crisp cutting and steady sustain to lead boosts.
A compressor pairing natural response with pedal-style simplicity
What the compressors BJF designs have in common is that they handle like compact pedals. This one leans especially natural, designed to call up a clear tone approaching studio gear through simple controls.
Shaping with Gain and Ratio
Raising Gain strengthens the overall compression, and Ratio varies the compression ratio from 1:1 to 5:1. With both at maximum, the texture resembles a light overdrive, and it can also be used to adjust the overall density of the sound.
The added BLEND and VOLUME controls
BLEND sets the balance between dry and compressed sound, choosing between preserving attack and pulling the whole together. VOLUME covers up to +18dB of output, serving as a lead boost or a push into the amp.
Adaptability across instruments
It adds strength and sparkle to single coils, and steadiness to humbuckers with almost no change in tone. Its natural sustain suits slide playing, and on bass it compresses while preserving the original tone.
