BUTTER YELLOW AUTO QUACK is a One Control pedal that fits an envelope filter into a compact enclosure. With just three knobs, it works with any instrument, guitar or bass, active or passive pickups. A side-mounted MELLOW/BRIGHT switch changes its character: BRIGHT delivers intense sweeps from 70Hz to 3kHz, while MELLOW covers 70Hz to 600Hz with a warm, wah-like tone that also suits bass. BIAS sets the starting point, SENS the sensitivity, and DECAY how long the effect lasts.
A compact envelope filter handled with three knobs
It reworks the filter pedal, a category that tends to grow large with many knobs, into a mini-sized enclosure with a control set pared down to three knobs. The priority is being easy to bring along even when the effect appears only briefly in a song.
Two modes: MELLOW and BRIGHT
A side switch selects the frequency range the filter works on. BRIGHT operates from 70Hz to 3kHz, producing intense sweeps and screaming tones. MELLOW covers 70Hz to 600Hz for a warm tone close to a wah pedal, well suited to bass.
Three-knob sound shaping
BIAS sets the filter's starting point, SENS adjusts sensitivity to match the instrument and pickups, and DECAY controls how long the effect lasts. These three settings alone cover everything from slow wah-like movement to fast quack, on guitar or bass, active or passive.
