The pedal was developed around a setting with the "360" preamp clean and the EQ flat. Rather than a fully clean sound, it targets the tone that became a rock bass icon: slightly overdriven, yet losing neither pitch definition nor dynamic range.
A 3-band EQ matched to modern gear
A newly designed 3-band equalizer lets you build the original sound even with modern bass amps or DI line outputs. Lowering MID moves toward a classic bass tone, raising VOL adds slight breakup and harmonics, and on hi-fi amps, raising TREBLE without using a tweeter is an effective approach.
A -18dB mode designed for stacking drives
The -18dB mode, selected with a side switch, is a special mode for shaping the sound starting from all knobs fully up, reaching roughly unity gain at maximum volume. It is designed to reproduce the hard-to-overdrive character of the "360" in pedal form; stacking other drive pedals on it yields a sound as if played through the "360".
