Minimal Series BJF Buffer Split
$109.99Reference price
A buffer-splitter combining the BJF Buffer with a split output. It divides the signal into two outputs for uses such as running two amps at once or splitting to an amp and a mixer. Where a simple split tends to weaken the signal, the buffer keeps it strong, distributing the sound without losing clarity or tone.
A mini pedal built around buffering and splitting that covers multiple roles
Splitting a signal can sap its strength, costing clarity and tone. Built on the idea of supporting the split with a buffer, this pedal combines the BJF Buffer with a split output, condensing the functions of several pedals into the small Minimal Series enclosure.
Dual outputs supported by the buffer
The BJF Buffer, with gain at exactly unity, can be switched on or off, and the signal splits into two outputs. Whether running two amps at once or splitting to an amp and a mixer, the sound is sent without the loss of clarity a plain split can cause.
Multiple functions via mode switching
Side-mounted switches select between SPLIT/1LOOP and FS/AB BOX modes. It operates as a one-loop box with selectable true bypass or buffered bypass, an AB box, an input selector, or a latching remote switch for controlling other gear. To prevent accidental changes, the mode switches sit recessed into the side panel.
Usable passively
Power is needed only to light the LED and run the BJF Buffer; every other function works passively. Where no power is available, it can serve as a passive splitter box.
- Switchable BJF Buffer on board
- Split output divides the signal into two paths
- Also works as a one-loop box or AB box
- Doubles as an input selector or latching remote switch
- Functions other than the buffer work without power
