The Dyna Red Distortion rebuilt as a BJF-approved handmade pedal
The BJFE in your hand Series is a BJF-approved line of handmade pedals in which One Control rebuilds original BJFE models and hand-wires them in Japan. A machined aluminum enclosure and audio-grade parts such as carbon film resistors and metal film capacitors reproduce the look and tone in fine detail while securing stable production.
A distortion voiced more aggressively
The sound is a thick, well-balanced tone that distorts more aggressively than the BJFe Series Dyna Red Distortion 4K. It never turns harsh, combining solid stability with delicate responsiveness, and retains clarity and long sustain even at high gain settings.
Tone shaping with PRESENCE and TREBLE
TREBLE adjusts the highs and PRESENCE the band above them. If the top end grows too strong when brightening with TREBLE, backing off PRESENCE dials in a bright tone that never turns piercing.
Works with any amp
It is not limited to tube amps: paired with a clean solid-state amp, it still allows tube-like dynamic control. It also supports running an overdrive in front, or rolling back the guitar's volume to clean up the drive.
- BJF-approved hand-wired pedal made in Japan
- Machined aluminum enclosure and high-quality audio parts
- More aggressive drive than the BJFe Series version
- Two-stage high-end control with PRESENCE and TREBLE
- Pairs well with solid-state amps too
