A tremolo pedal with six waveform modes. It recreates the tube bias tremolo of vintage amps, the optical tremolo of blackface-era and later amps, and the harmonic tremolo regarded as the origin of the phaser, among others. It supports speed changes that respond to picking strength, switching between two settings with an expression pedal, and an external tap switch, and its stereo inputs and outputs allow use with keyboards and DJ gear.

A pedal that recreates the tremolo of the various vintage amp designs in six waveform modes. Pressing the GAIN knob selects the mode.
Six modes with different mechanisms
It offers MXR, which inherits the sound of the M159; BIAS, which recreates the tube bias tremolo of brownface amps; OPTO, which recreates the optical circuits of amps from the mid-1960s onward; REVO, its inverted waveform with stronger emphasis; SQR, a square wave suited to machine-gun effects; and HARM, the harmonic tremolo sometimes called the origin of the phaser.
Expressive features that respond to your playing
Tremolo speed can change in response to picking strength, and an expression pedal moves seamlessly between two settings. Tempo input via an external tap switch is also supported.
Stereo inputs and outputs
With stereo inputs and outputs, it connects not only to guitars but also to keyboards and DJ gear. A slide switch assigns the CTR jack to tap tempo, expression, or audio output.
