A model that rebuilds the SM9, released during the NWOBHM boom of the late 1970s onward, as the Super Metal a quarter century later. It focuses squarely on metal tones.

The mid-cut high-gain distortion handles settings from NWOBHM styles to down-tuned heavy and loud rock. The simple four-knob layout gets to the target tone quickly.
9V/18V internal operation
Internal operating voltage is selectable between 9V and regulated 18V. At 18V a DC/DC converter secures ample dynamic headroom; at 9V the converter stays off, extending battery life.
