KarDiaN
titania v2
The successor to the titania high-gain distortion, reworked with higher output and aimed at lead playing. It carries more than 1.5 times the loudness of its predecessor. The extra headroom keeps density in lower-gain crunch settings. The EQ has a more pronounced presence region and a wider range of midrange cut and boost.
A titania successor with higher loudness, extending its range into lead playing
A revision of the titania high-gain distortion used by djent players. Alongside the wall of backing tone the original was known for, this version aims to bring lead lines forward.
More than 1.5 times the loudness
Output has been raised to over 1.5 times that of the previous model. The additional headroom means crunch settings with the gain rolled back no longer thin out, widening the usable range while density holds.
A revised EQ response
The EQ has been reworked so that the presence region acts more clearly. The range of midrange cut and boost has also been widened to make full use of the midrange the higher output pushes forward.
- More than 1.5 times the loudness of the original titania
- Retains density in lower-gain crunch settings
- Strengthened presence region in the EQ
- Wider midrange cut and boost range
