BOSS
MD-500
A pedal housing 28 types of modulation widely used by guitarists and bassists. Its design maintains 32-bit floating-point processing at 96kHz from input to output, and alongside BOSS's original PRIME types it includes the sounds of classics such as the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble and the Roland Dimension D. It is a model in BOSS's 500 series.
A 500-series modulation pedal packing 28 effect types
A modulation pedal that gives each effect a wealth of parameters to draw out its character, maintaining 32-bit floating-point processing at 96kHz from input to output.
Original types and recreations of historic classics
Alongside PRIME types developed with BOSS's proprietary technology, it includes the sounds of classics such as the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the Roland Dimension D, vintage 1970s phasers, and the tri-phase chorus widely used in the 1980s.
A/B Simul mode with two simultaneous patches
A/B Simul mode allows two patches to be used at the same time. A single unit can build complex layered modulation and sound variations.
Insert loop
External effect pedals can be connected before, after, or between the modulation stages and preset per patch. Carefully crafted sounds can be recalled as they are during performance.
