DC-2W
$229.99Reference price
A model that recreates the sounds of the DC-2 Dimension C compact pedal and the Roland SDD-320 Dimension D rack effect in the Waza Craft series. Built around high-quality analog circuitry, its iconic four-mode selector is now electronic, enabling combinations impossible on the originals. The Dimension sound, which adds three-dimensional width and depth, has been used on keyboards and vocals as well as guitar.
Waza Craft reviving both Dimensions, the DC-2 and SDD-320
A Waza Craft model reproducing the sounds of the DC-2 Dimension C compact pedal and the Roland SDD-320 Dimension D rack unit with high-quality analog circuitry. It puts the Dimension effect, which creates width and depth by a different method than chorus, into a single unit.
Dimensionality distinct from chorus
Dimension is often assumed to be the same kind of effect as chorus, but the underlying technique differs. It expresses width and depth without chorus-level modulation, producing a natural, lustrous sound that preserves the instrument's own character.
An electronic four-mode selector
The iconic four-mode selector has been replaced with durable electronic buttons, with LED indicators for better visibility. It supports pressing two buttons at once, impossible on the originals, yielding a total of 20 sounds combined with the Standard/SDD-320 mode switch.
Reproducing the studio-standard SDD-320
The Roland SDD-320 Dimension D is a rack effect heard on countless recordings since its release in 1979. The SDD-320 mode reproduces that sound in detail, and can call up two hidden sounds via simultaneous button presses as well as four in-between settings.
Affinity with recording gear
A high-quality buffer minimizes signal degradation when bypassed, keeping a pure tone that leaves the source uncolored. The mono/stereo inputs and outputs are designed for connection not only to guitar and bass but also to keyboards, audio interfaces, and mixers.
