CE-2W
A chorus that recreates the sounds of the CE-1, the world's first chorus pedal from 1976, and the CE-2, which packed its tone into a compact pedal, through the Waza Craft series. The STANDARD mode inherits the CE-2, while the CE-1 mode carries both its CHORUS and VIBRATO effects. A made-in-Japan model, it adds stereo output and CHORUS DEPTH adjustment that the originals never offered.
Waza Craft carrying on the world's first chorus, the CE-1, and the CE-2
In 1976 BOSS released the CE-1, the world's first chorus effect pedal, and later condensed its tone into the compact CE-2. The CE-2W revived these original chorus sounds as a made-in-Japan Waza Craft model in 2016, the 40th anniversary of the CE-1.
STANDARD mode inheriting the CE-2
The STANDARD mode reproduces the chorus sound of the CE-2. Its pleasantly mild modulation remains intact, now with stereo output for a spaciousness the original CE-2 could not provide.
CHORUS and VIBRATO from the CE-1
The CHORUS and VIBRATO modes of the CE-1 are also on board. The CHORUS mode adds a DEPTH control absent from the original unit, making the depth of the modulation adjustable.
