[BOSS] GX-1 and GX-1B compact multi-effects announced

Roland has announced the GX-1 (guitar) and GX-1B (bass), compact multi-effects processors under the BOSS brand, releasing on January 24, 2026. They are the lightest and most compact models in the established GX series.

Highlights

• Amp and effect algorithms from the GX series: 23 AIRD preamps and over 140 effects on the GX-1, 16 preamps and over 130 effects on the GX-1B
• The new GEAR SUITE feature, a high-resolution color display, and physical buttons for intuitive editing
• A dedicated app with practice features and a USB port that supports recording
