An amp simulator pedal fitting 23 guitar amp and cabinet models into a single stompbox. It houses 23 guitar amp and cabinet models, from legendary to modern machines plus seven ZOOM originals. Added at the end of a pedalboard, it completes a full-bodied guitar sound for live shows and recording without hauling an amp.
Amp realism through Multi-Layer IR
Unlike a conventional single impulse response, Multi-Layer IR dynamically blends impulse responses captured at LOUD, MEDIUM, and SOFT volumes according to playing intensity. The response tracks a real cabinet, so picking strength translates directly into tonal change.
Studio Ambience and 12 finishing effects
The Studio Ambience function reproduces the captured reverberation of five real spaces - recording studio, live house, concert hall, church - down to the air of the room the amp sits in. Twelve effects, including five EQ types, noise gate and reduction, and four delays, handle final adjustments for the ensemble.
Fully stereo design with split output
The signal path processes left and right independently from input to output, preserving the stereo image of upstream ambience effects. The R OUT POSITION function selects where the R output taps the chain for simultaneous PA and amp feeds, and a headphone output covers late-night practice and soundchecks.
IR loader and USB connectivity
Up to 80 third-party IRs can be loaded via the companion apps. 80 patch memories and 50 presets are built in, and the USB audio interface function records directly into a DAW or feeds live streams. Patch switching over USB MIDI is also supported.
