A multi-effects processor for acoustic instruments at large - not just acoustic guitar but saxophone, trumpet, violin, harmonica, and upright bass. Rather than reusing electric-guitar effects, its algorithms are newly developed for each instrument's acoustic behavior.
82 effects designed per instrument
The 82 effects include a wah that follows a saxophonist's breath, a violin-specific distortion that preserves bowing attack, and a chorus voiced for chromatic harmonica. They span corrective 7-band EQ and compression through to bold sound design with detune chorus and auto-wah.
Acoustic Remodeling
Fifteen AG MODEL presets capture each guitar's acoustic signature with IR technology, restoring the body resonance lost through a pickup. Each model offers GAIN, BASS, MID, and TREBLE parameters, with signal processing selectable for piezo or magnetic pickups.
Mic adapter included
The bundled MAA-1 mic adapter supports dynamic mics and phantom-powered condensers alike. With a clip-on mic connected, effects reach wind and other instruments that have no pickup, and a GAIN control trims the input level.
Looper, rhythms, and live features
The 30-second looper syncs with the built-in rhythm machine, and moving the looper ahead of the effects lets you shape sounds while a looped phrase plays. 68 rhythm patterns include cajon and Latin percussion, MEMORY mode with preselect and STOMP mode aid live use, an anti-feedback effect tames howling, and four AA batteries power about 18 hours.
