VOLANTE
$429Reference price
VOLANTE is a delay pedal themed around a retro-futuristic vision. It combines ambient echo, organic feedback, and a touch of grit to create sounds with the texture of vintage echo machines.
A multi-head echo spanning drum, tape, and studio
A multi-head delay with three types: magnetic drum echo, tape echo, and studio echo. It reproduces media saturation and mechanical wear, and includes a looper and spring reverb.
Three echo machines and three speeds
drum recreates the rich harmonics and saturation rooted in multi-stage tube circuitry; tape recreates a multi-head tape echo complete with head and tape wear; studio recreates the low-degradation, full-range repeats of an open-reel machine. A SPEED switch selects half, normal, or double media speed.
Individual control of four playback heads
Each playback head's level can be set to full, 1/2, or off, with per-head feedback on/off and stereo panning. The SPACING control morphs between four head spacings: Even, Triplet, Golden Ratio, and Silver Ratio.
Sound on sound
Loop recordings can be layered independently of the echo, with footswitch control for reverse playback and a tape-machine-style PAUSE. Changing the loop speed shifts the pitch along with it, and you can move into infinite repeats.
Vintage-style spring reverb
Inheriting the style of the small spring reverbs built into classic tape machines, it runs as an independent algorithm layered over the delay.
