El Capistan(V2)
$379Reference price
The second generation of the tape echo pedal that switches between three tape machine types. You can adjust the tape quality and the machine's degree of wear, recreating everything from the full-range sound of a brand-new unit to the unstable behavior of a well-worn one. It adopts dTape technology and an ARM DSP, and includes a tape-style looper.
Second-generation dTape echo that lets you craft even the tape's condition
A tape echo that switches between three different tape machine types. With dTape technology and an ARM DSP, it recreates everything from the full-range, stable sound of a brand-new echo machine to the unstable nuances of a unit worn enough to need maintenance.
Three tape machine types
Each type carries unique modes, letting you finely craft the tape quality, degree of wear, and tone. It covers everything from classic slapback to spacey sounds with a psychedelic float.
Spring reverb and looper
A Spring knob recreates, with a dedicated algorithm, the sparkle of the small spring reverb tanks once built into tape echo machines. It also works as a looper capable of tape-style overdubbing.
Second-generation modernization
It carries an independent TAP tempo switch, TRS stereo input and output, and line/instrument level switching. Full MIDI support enables MIDI clock sync of the delay time and storage of 300 presets, with firmware updates over USB-C.
