BRIGADIER
A delay pedal that recreates the sound of analog delay. It models the nostalgic texture of the BBD approach and its response to playing dynamics. At the same time, it achieves a signal-to-noise ratio difficult for real analog delays and can deliver clear delay tones that retain the high end lost in analog designs.
The analog-voiced delay that debuted dBucket
A delay built on dBucket technology, which emulates BBD ICs from the transistor level of their component elements. It reproduces even the tonal influence of clock ICs and compander noise reduction, while also offering a signal-to-noise ratio and high-end clarity impossible with real analog delays.
Three delay modes
short models an early analog delay with a single BBD IC at 40-400ms, med models the longest-class analog delay in existence at 100ms to 1 second, and long covers 500ms to 5 seconds, impossible with analog circuitry. The modes correspond to different numbers of dBucket chips, so the sound changes with the mode even at the same delay time.
Modern features analog lacks
It provides tap tempo with three input patterns of quarter notes, dotted eighths, and eighth-note triplets, plus an infinite repeat hold that repeats indefinitely while the switch is held. It also supports real-time expression pedal control and a FAVORITE preset via an optional footswitch.
Analog dry mix
The input signal is never AD-converted; it is mixed with the delay signal in a mixer circuit running on an internally boosted analog-only power supply. It handles +4dB line-level input and can be used in a mixer's insert.
