blueSky(Gen1)
The original blueSky Reverb. It devotes the processing power of a SHARC DSP (ADSP-21375) entirely to the reverb algorithm, generating deep, pristine ambience with computation rivaling studio reverb units. It is the previous-generation model, since succeeded by the V2.
The original blueSky, pouring a SHARC DSP into reverb alone
It devotes a powerful SHARC DSP entirely to the reverb algorithm, producing deep, pristine ambience with computation exceeding professional studio reverb units. This original model reset the standard for compact reverb pedals.
Three types and three modes
The reverb types are plate, room, and spring; with spring, LOW DAMP and HIGH DAMP adjust the spring's tone and even its age. Modes switch among norm, mod, and shimmer.
The advanced shimmer mode
It keeps adding an octave-up voice to the reverb sound throughout the decay; with long decay times, a harmonically rich, synth-like sound wells up. Plate and spring add a fifth above as well.
Analog dry mix
The input signal is never AD-converted; it is mixed in analog by a mixer circuit running on an internally boosted analog-only power supply. It handles +4dB line input and can be used in mixer inserts and amp send/return loops.
