BigSky MX
$679Reference price
A reverb pedal powered by a triple-core 800MHz ARM processor. New algorithms designed around this processing power generate dense, complex ambience. As a reverb bearing the BigSky name, its sound design emphasizes richness and complexity.
The latest generation of the flagship heralding a new era of reverb
Built around a triple-core 800MHz ARM processor and 32-bit floating-point processing, it carries twelve reverb machines. Alongside seven new algorithms developed from scratch and five refined classics, it also handles new reverb effects using impulse response technology.
Two reverbs at once
Series, parallel, and split audio routings run two reverb engines simultaneously, creating expansive ambience that evolves over time. Each engine's output has a pan control, so placement can be adjusted when using both.
Impulse response editing
It supports real-time IR editing: changing the decay envelope, gating the reverb tail, reversing, and resampling. Twenty-two impulse responses come preloaded, including captures of real analog studio gear, and compatible audio files can be imported.
Multi-modulation for natural movement
The new algorithms feature multi-modulation that varies the delay of individual reflections, adding natural movement close to the way air moves in a room. Even with modulation at zero, the reverb tail decays smoothly out to the longest decay time.
Easy to manage on stage
A bright OLED display and a dedicated Infinite/Freeze footswitch are provided, and dual patches let each reverb be controlled individually by foot. It supports MIDI control of every parameter, USB-C, and expression pedals.
