A delay built on the idea of realizing, with modern technology, the high-fidelity delay that engineers pursued before the digital era. Its delay tone is pure and clear yet carries an echo reminiscent of vintage units, staying in a supporting role that lifts the performance without getting in its way. Raising the F.BACK knob brings that distinctive character forward.

The high-fidelity delay engineers once pursued, realized with modern technology

Until digital delay arrived, delay effects kept evolving in pursuit of higher fidelity. BJF designed this pedal on the idea of expressing the delay those engineers dreamed of with today's technology, pairing a pure, clear tone with an echo reminiscent of vintage units.

A clear delay tone that never dominates

The delay sound is articulate and clear yet always stays in a supporting role behind the playing. A very slight degradation is applied to the repeats, which gradually break down as they cycle, turning lo-fi over long stretches. With clean tones the delay never sticks out, and with drive it adds dimension to the sound.

Infinite repeats and radical moves

Raise F.BACK and the repeats continue indefinitely. Moving the DELAY knob with the effect on makes the space warp abruptly, and stacking F.BACK on a short delay creates glitch- or tremolo-like sustained sounds. LEVEL is calibrated to reach 1:1 with the dry signal at maximum, covering everything from faint ambience to tricky playing.

True bypass and kill dry

True bypass leaves no delay signal when off; when switched on, the delay fades in from a muted state. A kill-dry switch is also provided for use in parallel effects loops.
