This 3-loop switcher was designed on the idea that a switcher defeats its purpose if it takes up too much board space. It pursues the compactness and light weight that make it easy to add to an existing setup.
Layout choices behind the small footprint
In a chassis about 41mm deep, every jack is placed low so cables never drape over neighboring pedals. Footswitch spacing is set at 52mm based on player research to prevent missteps. At about 310g, it weighs little more than a typical compact pedal.
Power distribution and tuner out
Four DC outputs branching from the power inlet supply 9V DC to three pedals and a tuner. The tuner out keeps the tuner independent of the signal chain, and the TUNER switch works as a mute switch when no tuner is connected.
True bypass and the BJF Buffer
All switches are true bypass, so the unit can also true-bypass vintage pedals that color the signal when switched off. Connecting several pedals to one loop enables one-press group switching. The input carries a switchable BJF Buffer designed to hold gain at exactly unity, supporting the signal without changing the tone.
