An expanded model of the CARBON COPY, the BBD-based analog delay. In addition to a maximum delay time of 1,200ms—long for an analog delay—it adds tap tempo, note-value selection via TAP DIV, and modulation with adjustable speed and depth. It also carries a BRIGHT switch, an INPUT GAIN switch for guitar or line levels, a DRY switch that cuts the dry signal, and a jack for an external expression pedal.
The CARBON COPY expanded with modern features
A higher-spec model that keeps the warm analog delay sound of the BBD circuit while adding a wide range of controls to the original CARBON COPY.
Unusually long delay for an analog unit
The delay time reaches a maximum of 1,200ms, long for an analog delay. From slapback with short delay times to long repeats, the three knobs including REGEN and MIX build the core echo sound.
Tap tempo and modulation
The TAP-BEAT footswitch sets the tempo by foot, and the TAP DIV switch selects the note value relative to the tempo. SPEED and WIDTH adjust the modulation's rate and depth, adding the wobble characteristic of analog delay in the amount you want.
Extended I/O features
It includes a BRIGHT switch that emphasizes the highs, an INPUT GAIN switch to match guitar or line level, and a DRY switch that cuts the dry signal to output only the delay. A jack for an external expression pedal is also on board.
