Maxon
AD999Pro Analog Delay
$499Reference price
The upper model of Maxon's analog delays using the MC4107D BBD IC. Alongside up to 900ms of delay it has two outputs for separate effect and dry signals. Noise reduction built from an RMS level sensor and high-quality VCA keeps the sound transparent, and three multi-delay switches simulate a multi-head tape echo.
A 900ms analog delay with multi-head simulation
An upper model that adds noise reduction and multi-delay to the AD999's 900ms platform, aiming to combine analog warmth with clarity.
Improved frequency balance
Noise reduction built from an RMS level sensor and high-quality VCA keeps the delay transparent. Enhanced low-end response delivers solid bass, and the rebalanced lows and highs create a clear delay that retains its warmth.
Multi-delay switches
A simulation of a multi-head tape echo is controlled by three multi-delay switches. By adding a midstream signal to the delay line, it ranges from multi-head recreation to concert-like ambience effects.
