A digital delay regarded as the most wide-ranging and feature-packed compact delay pedal in BOSS history. Its 11 delay modes cover everything from basic sounds that fit a wide range of genres to more distinctive textures. It supports mono and stereo input and output, and includes a looper with overdub and external-controller support. The model handles a large feature set in a space-saving footprint.
A wide-ranging delay packing 11 modes and a looper into a compact enclosure
Regarded as the most wide-ranging and multi-functional compact delay in BOSS history. The direct sound bypasses the AD/DA circuitry through an analog dry-through design, and mono and stereo input and output are supported.
11 delay modes
Onboard modes include the clean STANDARD, the vintage-voiced ANALOG and TAPE ECHO, MODULATION for added movement, the ambient WARP, plus SHIMMER and REVERSE. Three newly developed modes join them: +REVERB for blending in reverb, the mild yet present WARM, and the rhythmic GLT.
Three stereo output modes
You can choose between fully independent stereo, panning that bounces the delay repeats between left and right, and wide stereo that gives the trails a broader spatial spread. The stereo output behavior can be matched to the sound image you want.
Looper and external control
The looper records up to 40 seconds and supports overdubbing, with record/playback, stop, and clear each operable from an external footswitch. Connecting an expression pedal allows continuous control of E.LEVEL, FEEDBACK, TIME, or all of them at once.
Output settings that switch with the connections
The output configuration changes simply by how the cables are plugged in, supporting separate output of the direct and effect sounds or an effect-only output for parallel effects loops. In mono connection, twice the usual delay time is available.
