DD-3T
A model that inherits the delay sound and intuitive operation of the DD-3 Digital Delay, introduced in 1986, and adds enhanced features. Tempo can be set from the onboard switch or an external footswitch, with a choice of three note values. The direct out jack is placed on the output-jack side, making connections easier when sending the direct and effect sounds separately.
A digital delay that inherits the DD-3 sound and adds tap tempo
A model that carries over the delay sound and operability of the 1986 DD-3 unchanged while enhancing its features. The direct sound bypasses the AD/DA circuitry through an analog dry-through design, preserving the character of the original signal.
Sound descended directly from the DD-2
The DD-3 was designed around the DD-2, the world's first digital delay pedal released in 1983, and has long been favored for its warm tone. The DD-3T's sound and controls fully inherit those characteristics, with delay time set from 12.5ms to 800ms across three time ranges.
Tap tempo
Holding the pedal down for two seconds activates tap tempo, letting you enter delay times up to 800ms by tapping the interval. Note values can be chosen from quarter note, dotted eighth note, and quarter-note triplet, and tempo input from an external footswitch is also supported.
SHORT LOOP and direct out
The DD-3's HOLD function returns under the name SHORT LOOP, letting you play over looping phrases of up to 800ms. The direct out jack sits next to the output jack, simplifying connections that send the effect and direct sounds to separate amps.
